Pete, I did some searching on a couple of shotgun forums later last night. A thread on shotgunworld.com had an idea I think might work. It's an overpowder wad made/sold by BPI called the flex-seal.
I just happened to have some! Also, they fit real tight inside the CBC/magtech case right where the powder would top out at. The CBC case is tapered toward the bottom slightly, so it would expand as the powder starts to build pressure. Also they would keep expanding as they pass the end of the case and transition to the chamber and into the barrel. The fiber wads I have are real soft. They would NOT seal against the powder at all. This pic is NOT how they look, they're actually white with a black top layer. I'm going to load some using the flex seal wads and some nitro-100 or another fast shotgun powder.

An update! The flex seal wads worked!!! I used 20.0 grains of nitro-100, 2 11 ga. fiber wads, with one of the 11 ga. nitro card wads just under the shot. This brought the 1-1/8 ounce of #7.5 shot just under the top of the shell. A 10 gauge over-shot wad and the taper crimp.
The shells had snappy recoil, the shot was quick to the target and looked like a nice tight, even pattern @ 25 yds. The powder burned completely, and the shells were also clean on the sides, no powder burns meaning they were sealed against the chamber. I also tried a X-10-X wad with 19.0 of the nitro-100. Same wad column as above, these also worked well. I don't think there's any problem with the 10 gauge over-powder-wad being used in the mag-tech shells. I'm going to increase the powder a little, may go to 21, then 22.0 grains and run them over my chronograph. Right now, I'm going to stick with target weights, 1-1/8 ounce. I may at some time try some 1-¼ ouncers for the heck of it.

Flex seal
Snuffy: I just saw the post about the flex seal and the follow-up to it. Glad that they worked. I have not tried the Flex Seal but I will be ordering some directly.
So....your wad column was - powder in - a 12 gauge Flex Seal, two 11 gauge fiber wads (1/2"), an 11 gauge nitro card. Then shot and a 10ga. OS card. Is that correct? Pete
