I used to shoot DCM years ago, but there are no shoots near my home. I'd love to get back into it, so if anyone knows about DCM shoots in the Central Arkansas area, let me know.

My son ad I shoot CMP all the time. It's nice to get beat by a 16 year old.

I shoot the DCM matches at my range. We just had one this past Sat. The whole first line was first time shooters. We had three lines shoot. (ten per line). I always have a great time at the DCM match.

I am currently training as hard as my military assignment will allow me to, for EIC/CMP (note DCM is now CMP)service rifle here in VA. I have shot a fair amount of DCM (now CMP) pistol in the past.

Hope to hear from others shooting Excellence in Competition or CMP matches.

Should be back into it this summer. Meantime, dry fire about once a month. Sometimes twice, but skipped March 'cause of major life events...

There's nothing like launching bullets at that MR target at 600. Even 500 (used to shoot at an NG range with only 500) with the black out to only the 8 ring is nice. Just remember, it's 6 clicks up from 3 instead of 10!!
