SKS Noobie!
Hello I have been reading through the threads on the Norinco and gone through some of the links. But still have not been able to find the info I am looking for. I am just trying to find out what I have here. I was given this SKS from my dad and it was given to him and he did not now any thing about it. I do know that it has a after market Combat Exchange plastic stock. It has a bayonet non-blade on it. It is a Norinco Chinese, but it does not have the triangle or the star stamped into it on the left side or any place on the gun. It does have the 3 Chinese characters followed by 0141-21001640. It also has the numbers 1640 stamped onto the top front part of the slide and the flat end part of the slide. I am just trying to figure out what year and any other info I can find out about the gun. I have a 30round clip and the original clip as well for it. I have attached some pics. Any info about this rifle will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time and input
