Colt Mustang XSP 380 reloading
My factory casings (Win, Fiocchi, Rem) from my newly acquired XSP all have a 1-2mm scratch in a small dent near the mouth of the casing. What might cause this? More importantly, being new to reloading, does this pose a danger?

Probably normal for an autoloader. My .38 Super dents case mouths on occasion. The bent mouths are from extraction when hitting the side of the slide on the way out. If there is no damage except for the dented mouth, they're fine to reload. Don't know where the scratch might be coming from, though. Like said above ... pics would be helpful.

The cases are no doubt just striking the ejector which causes the scratches or dents, typical for a semi.

Added pictures of scratches
Clumsy newbie. I have added pictures of the scratches (if this works). Need to know if safe to reload or not. Colt no help as they do not advise on reloading. Colt said scratches are "normal" probably from contact with ejector.

From what I see at gun shows, a Colt Mustang 380 is so expensive it should not be fired, but stay in the safe as a 3% annually compounded investment for your heirs.
