I just got my 1908 Remington model 10 12 gauge back from Rob at Northern VA Gun Works a few days ago. He broke it down, rebuilt a broken part, clean it up, and threw it all back together. I was very impressed as this was the first time I used him for anything. His shop is in Springfield, VA; not too far from you. Give him a call and ask him if he can help you out. Number is 703-644-6504. He's factory trained on Beretta, Colt, Glock, Ruger, Sig, S&W and an authorized repairer for Remington.

I second rob and Sandy Garrett at No. VA Gunworks in
Springfield. They're certified armorers for a number of popular makes, Sandy was "Gunsmith of the Year" in 1995, does beautiful work on SA revolvers.
