1 in 10" twist 25-06, What weight bullet?

Ruger 77 mk 2 25-06 I'm working on getting this rifle to shoot. If anyone has any preferences on what bullet weight is ideal for a 1-10" twist rate, gimme some info I'll take anything. I'm hoping the 75gr vmax will fly good out to 400 yrds, I heard another guy with the same gun had luck with this bullet. Any Pet loads?

Try H414. For the Hornady 75 grain V-max, the starting load is 51 grains, max is 55.
Varget is another good one-46 grains starting and 49 max.
H4350 is also a good performer-54 starting and 58 max.

any of these will get you to about 3650-3700 fps with a 24 inch barrel.

With a 1:10 twist, you should be good all the way up to 120 grain bullets.

.75 Moa

I've just got back from the range and it turns out my M77 mark 2 25-06 love the 75 gr v-max with about a max load of IMR 4350, the kicker is my loads are .060 off the lands of the rifling. I've finally reached sub moa accuracy with my 25-06!!
