Convert old pump to 20ga?
I have a JC Higgins (High Standard) 12 ga pump. Is there an inexpensive way to line the barrel to 20 ga and use the Gauge Reducers sold by Cabella's (Little Skeeter's). This is a really beat up gun so I want to invest as little money as possible. If this doesn't work, I will sell it to Numrich for parts. Thanks.

This would not be a practical project. First of all you would have to custom fit a liner to the barrel that you have, it would only be a single shot and would not feed, extract or eject the the shells.
Sell the gun and buy a new or used 20 Guage. Happy New Year-John K

Hey, if the gun works, I may be interested...or try your local show. I'd hate to see a working gun get parted out.
