Remington 310

A friend has a Rem 310 O/U - The forearm has cracked with only a moderate amount of use
Has this happened to othehr Rem 310 users ? A lasting repair via epoxy a possibility?
Where to get a replacement ??

If you can force yellow carpenters gue into the crack, and then apply clamp with padding, it will do you a better job than epoxy.

+1 on the yellow glue
Water based is easier to work with and you can cleanly wipe-off the excess. With an epoxy, a little slip and you may require a refinishing job. If you don't have a suitable clamp, rubber bands may work.
