Where do you buy clay pigeons?

I have found all types of skeet throwing devices, but I cannot find where to buy the skeet.
I was thinking it would be fun to shoot in the yard, maybe teach the wife and kids how to shoot.
Kind of hard to do if you cannot find where to buy clays.
Help please.
Dan

Here in N. Texas you can go almost anywhere, Wal-Mart, Oshmans, Acadamy Sports.

I was trying to find them at an online store, I do not do Walmart and there are no large sporting goods stores for at least fifty miles.
Thanks for the lead.

Finnally found them. Did a search for "clay targets" and found some leads.

Try Dick's. It was formally called Galyan's. Pretty good prices.

I can't find any online.
I've found throwers by the hundreds, but no targets.
Maybe I'm searching for the wrong thing.
I found some, made by Daisy, but they appear to be for rifle practice.
Getting tired and frustrated.
Wife wants me to get some, said, "Hey!, that would be fun!".
Help please, wife wants to shoot!
I'll check in tommorrow.

I for one would not buy through the mail (or UPS) as the targets will probably arrive already broken. They are fragile and are not packed for shipping.

Do you have a Trap/Skeet/ SC range near you. They might sell a box or two to you. My last club would. Of course the mark up will be higher than China mart but principles is principles

For a real challenge and easy to locate targets....

Cabela's used to sell a Ritz Cracker thrower!

Well, at least the targets were easy to find!

You "do not do walmart"?

I'm sorry, but at $3.97 for 90 targets - white flyer (at least in my area, thats the price)...I "do" wal-mart. I have no problem doing wal-mart. I don't think you can find a better price than that!

FFXMike,
Thank you for responding, but my issue with walmart does not have anything to do with price.
My family does not shop at walmart. :barf:
I'll, hopefully, find them somewhere else.

Ace heardware here has them. Twice the price of Wal-mart but I don't have to drive 40 miles either.
