Hoppes Copper Solvent Question

I bought some hoppes copper solvent yesterday on a whim and thought I would try it for my barnes solids out of my 7mm magnum. Does anybody use this and what do you think? I know original Hoppes #9 is very mild and I use it for my handguns and .22s but the hoppes copper solvent smells MUCH stronger but dont know how it will do on real copper fouling. I should also mention that I never fire more than 10-15 rounds between cleaning so fouling wont be severe.

I bought some of the Hoppe's copper solvent a while back. I have used it, but it didn't seem to be any better than anything else I had tried. They all seemed about the same (with some variation in effectiveness), until I got a bottle of Boretech Eliminator that someone on the forum recommended. That stuff is very effective.

If you don't get the results you're looking for from the Hoppes, use Sharpshootr Wipe-0ut.

I spray the bore after a day at the range, patch it out the next day. Removes both powder and copper fouling, no brushing...it doesn't get any easier.

^^^ x2 on the WipeOut. The best part is it doesn't stink up the room while removing the copper fouling.
