A Happy Thanksgiving to all! Enjoy and if you're traveling - be safe. The turkey will wait until you get there!

Happy Thanksgiving!
When the Pilgrims were going through their first hard times in this country they were down to rations of 5 kernels of corn per day per person. When they had their first Thanksgiving they put a plate before each person with 5 kernals of corn on it to remind them how much they had to be thankful for. I like to keep that in mind when Thanksgiving comes around. Today, I put on my tee shirt and shorts and went out and mowed my back yard. Even for Houston that seems a little wierd.

Happy Thanksgiving one and all. We went from the 40s yesterday morning to the 50s today. I'm happy.

We went the other way: 40's to 30's, with some rain and sleet. I'm happy anyway, and immensely thankful for the privilege of living in this great country and for those who made it - and still make it - possible.

Yea, I was wearing shorts an tshirt yesterday and today it is in the 40's. My son was in Austin for the Texas vs A&M thing yesterday when the cold front came in there and was on his way back to Houston when he past the cold front coming down and he said that the temperature went from 60 to 80 within 1 mile of driving.

the pilgrims thanked the good lord, for the indians teaching them how to hunt deer and turkey, and the indians thanked the great spirit for someone to trade with, and i thank the lord for all my blessings and good health for my whole family, and for those pilgrims that wanted freedom to worship in the way they chose, they were the first spark of the spirit of 76, god bless them all
