I have recently gotten a new Ruger M-77 in .260 Remington and I am having trouble finding any new load information on it. Has anyone done any load development for this caliber, and if so, what is a safe starting point for the 100, 120, and 125 grains bullets?

All of the major powder manufacturers have loading data available. For instance Accurate Arms has data at http://www.accuratepowder.com/260.html and Hodgdon is at http://www.hodgdon.com/data/rifle/index.htm

I noticed IMR doesn't list the .260, but their guide is at http://www.imrpowder.com/rifle.html if you want to check in the future.

Thanks Akeny! I have just gotten done checking some of the attached sites you sent and they were most helpful. I also found some of this information in the Nosler site and it proved helpful as well. Guess it is time to start building a load. Have a great one and Thanks again.

SoDak-

Check out the new Speer reloading manual # 13, pages 200-202.

Also, check this site on-line--this guy has loads for lots of stuff, including many different bullets for the .260. Look under the .264 section, and follow directions: www.again.net/~steve/page8.htm

I'm currently working up loads for the 129 gr.

Good luck!
