Speedfeed Short Stock on Remington 1100

I am thinking of buying one of these for my 1100 20 Gauge. My dad bought the gun for me when I was a kid and I really want to use it for sporting clays, but I don't want to scratch the wood in the process.

Has anyone tried one of these stocks? If so, how did it work out? Installations tips etc....are welcome and greatly appreciated.

speedfeed stocks

i have a speedfeed on my 870 it works fine. as far as an 1100 model 12 or 20 ga. you can get a few types from cheaperthandirt.com and other places. ramline makes them too. my dads 1100 has a ramline monte carlo type on it. his is an older 12 ga. model. i too prefer the synthetic over the wood for in the field. but if it was only being used as a wallhanger the wood would be nicer looking in my point of view.

Hey, buck...unless that stock bolt is a little over 10" long, it won't work on an 1100. Just a heads up.
