Who makes a good leather holster for a Ruger MKII 22 bull barrel pistol?
I have one with a 5 1/2" barrel and cant for the life of me find a good leather holster. Anyone know where to get one?

I dont know for sure but ya might want to give Hunter Gunleather a buzz...IIRC they make a couple of belt designs for the Ruger...Also at one time Cheaper Than Dirt advertised a holster for the Ruger 22...I dont know if it was for the bull barrel version or not though Hope this helps

cheaperthandirt.com is the only one I know of...a google search will prolly turn up Hunter Gunleather

You might check out Galco. They recently introduced a new model called the DAO which is also offered for the 5.5" MKII. This is a much better product then the Hunter and at a good price point if you search accordingly.

You can get a real custom made holster from Black Hills Leather for the same price you'd pay at Galco. And, there is no comparison in the quality.

is there any that are contoured to the fit of the pistol? like Bianchi has?

Black Hill Leather makes holster to fit your gun. Bianchi (I have one) makes holsters that simulate custom made, but in fact will fit several guns & models...

Kirkpatrick makes one as does El Paso Saddlery. The Kirkpatrick is reasonably form fitted. Mernickle is another option, makes holsters for any weapon. All are nice. Not cheap, but very good.
