Might want to start with posting the area they were stolen from, at the very least you should post a state. Start checking local gun shops and pawn shops. Most likely it was someone looking to make a quick buck. I'm sorry for your loss, it's happened to me and it sucks. In my case they were all long guns and none were particularly valuable but they had a lot of sentimental value to me since they were all given to me by my father. I hope you get them back.

Very sorry for your loss. Colts it had to be of all things. I have a bad feeling that more gun controll will mean more gun thefts for the rest of us as well.

Sorry for your loss.
I know a lot of folks like to store all of their guns in a locked safe in the same place but to me that gives a false sense of security. I have my collection stored in 4 places in 4 different buildings so there is no chance that a fire or theft will take them all at one time. My carry and more used guns are near me in my house but the others...

I doubt you will ever see most of them again. I hope they were insured that was a fine collection.

register guns right

Sorry to hear of your loss,, shure hope they are insured, reminds that mine are NOT insured. I'm not making light of your loss but, I sure hope the thieves well register their newly acquired weapons with all the appropriate authorities.

yea they are insured but but probaly not nearly enough since you never really know how much these could have brought at auction
sold a 1855 revolving 50cal at auction brought almost 20k but then a 36 brought just below 30k so value on something like this is hard to price for the insurance
It would be nice to see the law do some work on this one and not say its just another case for them

Reward for Finders fee of these guns

is a Colt or Cash
