Beretta 92FS500 stainless Inox is $700 a good price ?

I saw it local.. it is new ad it has the cardboard box.
I have 45s, and a hipoint 995 carbine 9mm,
But no 9mm pistols...
What does everyone think ?
leave it or get it ?

I am familiar with the 92FS but not the 92FS500. I seem to recall I paid about a hundred less for my new Inox a few years ago.

I think closer to $600 would be fair if it is in perfect condition including box, papers and two mags. Just my opinion, but times are changing with the recent developments in the good ole USA.

I am assuming you will be buying used without a warranty. If new, then the price might be good to go.

From what I've seen online over the last 2 years and what I've seen in person in the last year, that's about the right price.

INOX has always brought a premium over standard pitols of the same series. I know people that would jump all over that INOX at that price. Look over at a Beretta forum and just search INOX. I am sure the price is very in line for what it is.

It is hard to say with recent occurences. The 92FS does come with 15 rd. magazines in most places. I mentioned this in my above response.

The Blue Book (32nd Edition) reflects a used 100% Inox at $650.00. The new MSR is $795.00. At 98% you drop to $545.00. If it has been fired, then I think it at least drops to 98% or below. (Guess on my part)

I would have to price around and think about it before paying $700 for a used one without warranty. I still do not know what the 92FS500 is? Maybe the 500 adds something I am not aware of. ???

I paid $627.00 for my new Inox in Jan 2010 before sales tax.
