.45 acp brass to Norway

Hello

My first post here. Have been lurking around for a while though..

Can someone help me find a brass supplier who can ship to Norway?
I desperately need some 45 acp brass. There is nothing left in this country and if I find some the price is insane.
Help will be much appreciated

Welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately, the U.S. Government has prohibited exporting brass and other reloading components and ammunition and optics for guns, among other things, so it cannot be purchased from here. I don't know why we have that law? We certainly import all of the above in great quantities, so it would only seem fair to be willing to allow it to be sold directly, but apparently it is not. An importer of arms in your country may be able to order it, but no direct sales are allowed other than for some accessories, like neck turning tools and other specialty items.

MFS in Hungary makes .45 ACP ammunition, and as far as I know, their brass is OK.

Sellier & Bellot in Czechoslovakia makes .45 ACP ammunition, and I believe they sell the components separately, as well.

IMI in Israel makes the brass available as a separate component. I know, because I bought 1000 one time from an importer.

KVB in Russia also makes the ammunition and they make primers available as separate components. They are sold in the U.S. as the Wolf brand, and they make both steel and brass case ammunition. The brass is boxer primed, so it may be reloaded. I have not tried it myself, but don't know any reason it should have a problem? I just don't know if they sell the brass as separate components from the ammunition?

Hi Delete,
I live in South Africa, and have an import /export company.
The law in South Africa does not classify empty cases as ammunition (only primers, powder and complete cartridges fall in that category)

PM me and I'll see how I can help you.
Brgds,
Danny

I have a Pardini Gt 45 5". Love it, it's a really nice gun. Reliable as #ยค%&
The only thing I don't like about it is the way it throws the empty cases. Quite long and gives me a hard time finding the cases. Used to have a Tanfoglio Limited Custom 9mm, but sold when I got the Pardini. It is so much better and the 45 acp is quite nice to shoot with. And of course have plenty of stoping power!

Deleete,

In case you are not accustomed to the board software, you can click on Dannyl's name in large blue letters at the top of the box to the left of his post content and a drop-down menu will give you the opportunity to send him a private message (PM). It sounds like he can send empty cases to you. The South African .45 ACP brass I have is made by Denel with the PMP headstamp, and is good brass.
