Timney 510 Trigger
Midway has this one on sale, and it just so happens that I am thinking about replacing the trigger on my Remington 700. The 510 has an aluminum housing - for $15 more, the 517 is all steel. I have no problem with aluminum, but I would like to hear about any experience with this model. This is strictly a hunting rifle, no match shooting.

Can't tell you if the housings are different, but the 510 has a curved trigger and the 517 has a straight trigger. Straight triggers are used more in competition than field use. I've installed quite a few 510s and it's a completely different world compared to the factory trigger. Highly recommend the Timney
