bad firing pins

I just had the worst day of duck hunting ever. My nova would not fire at all. This has happened in the pastbut I thought it was bad shells or wet powder, but after seven consecutive rounds not firing I learned quick that it was the gun. I believe the firing pin should be longer to strike the primer harder. I love my nova for the easy break down and cleaning but this problem has got to be fixed before I take it back out. I'll see how Benelli handles this issue soon.
