Remington

I have a Remington Model 140 well long story short I believe this is how the shotgun is suppose to work. When shooting this shotgun it holds one up and 2 down. The magazine follower will follow the last round ejected and lock back the bolt and lock the elevator against the follower. To load the shotgun again all you do is place a shell against the elevator and the breach will drop on an empty chamber you can then cycle the bolt and place 2 in the magazine shoot the gun and last round locks open the bolt. Then start all over again am I right in this or just think I am?? Thanks, Kurt

I'm unaware of any Model 140 shotgun made by Remington Arms Co.

Are you positive about the model, and could you please explain exactly what type of a repeater it is ?

Thanks.
