.243 win loads

I recently purchased an S&W .243 with Husqvarna action(model 1900). I would like to use Varget powder with a Hornady 100 grain btsp. If anyond has info on that or perhaps a better powder or load suggestion, I would certainly appreciate the info.
Thanks
Mickey

They don't list the exact bullet but you don't need it anyway. Start at the suggested starting load for the 100gr Spr and work up.

I use 2 loads with the Hornady 100 grain BTSP in my 788:
WW brass, CCI 200, 44.0 of IMR 7828
FC brass, CCI 200, 39.0 of WW 760/ H414
Neither is max by the book, these seem to shoot the best in my carbine length barrel. I wish it had a 22 or 24 inch tube to get more poop from the loads, but it will shamrock a clipful if I do my part.

I tried a few different powders with my .243 win., it seems to like the Winchester Supreme 780, with 100 grain Sierra Gamekings, 47.5 grns, winchester brass CCI 200 primer. It does about 3/4 of an inch four round groups at 100 yds. And is relatively non recoiling loading.
