What's Your Favorite Threaded Gun

Ok everyone,

I have an Octane 45 coming and am trying to decide what guns to get threaded or threaded barrels for. What are some of your favorites that you like? I am looking for a threaded 1911 barrel and one for my Glock, what else do yall like?

I have a Octane 45 as well.

Ive run it on all my Glocks. The one i like best is my 19. The 21 is ok. The 23 is HORRIBLE, way too much back blast. The 35 (with a 40-9 barrel) is just too long.

The 19 with 147gn subsonic is AWESOME.

I also run the Octane 45 on my 9mm SBR AR. Works great.

I don't own either, but one of the most fun silencer/host combos I've shot was an FNX-45 tactical with an Osprey 45 on it. The Osprey looks perfect with that host, and the smooth, comfortable recoil of the big FNX-45 is even smoother and more comfortable with the can on it. And of course it sounds great also.

No special advice, other then forget doing a 40 cal host. 45-good, 9mm-great,40- AUGH....like getting sandblasted with every shot. I cant imagine shooting that without eyepro

My only complaint about the Octane 45 is the length. But, its a full-size can so thats just what it is. Ive got one of the mini-cans (AAC tirant 9s) in NFA jail now. When that get out the Octane will spend most of the time on the 9mm AR.

Start stockin up on 147gn 9mm. Once you shoot it suppressed with subsonics... Youre done

Ya I have seen that mentioned a few times about the 40, no loss here though I will just have to stick with 9mm or 45acp. I am currently on the hunt for the heavy 147grn 9mm bullets now. Thanks for sharing.
