winchester 30 30?

Hello,

I have a winchester 30 30 in pretty good shape and about 100 rounds of factory winchester ammo ranging in grains (the 150-170 stuff). How much do you guys think it would be worth if I decided to sell it?

I inherited the gun but it NEVER gets any use whatsoever so I feel like it should go to a home that'll actually get to use it. The only range anywhere near me is a pistol caliber only indoor range.

Thank you in advance.

Jon-

$250 to $300 Is pretty common these days.
You could look at Gunbroker and see what they are going for. Good Luck.

[a winchester 30 30 in pretty good shape]

That statement is too general for any kind of realistic value estimate, since it covers a LOT of ground - anywhere from a $5,000 Model 1894 rifle with factory options, to a $250 Post-64 (like 1968) M94 standard carbine.

It's kinda like saying: I've got a Ford pickup in good shape - what's it worth ?

I am actually looking at 30/30s and I have seen them in the 250 -300 range for the good condition, non collectable

A good place to check is gunbroker to see where they are being sold at (not what some folks list them at)

I dont see why some folks even bother listing a rifle that is same model and similar condition but 30% more...... what a waste of time and cost to gunbroker. But... their money

Ah, if that were my criteria for keeping or selling a gun, I'm afraid that more than a few in my collection would be headed for the door, hat in hand.
