I have been wanting to turn an old 870 into a "combat shotgun" but can not afford it in the forceeable future. Wal-Mart is the only place in town that has "combat shotguns" and the one they have is a Mosberg 500 for $195.00 Is this a good price for this shotgun or should I look elsewhere for one?
Their is a gun shop with a double barrel 12ga coach gun with exposed hammers imported form Italy I think. He wants $295 for this shotgun. Thanks |

Joe:
Go with the Mossberg. It's not a bad shotgun, inexpensive but reliable. YOu may want to change the safety from plastic to metal. HJN |
