I wear ESS ICE Serries glasses. The have inserts for prescription lenses that go behind the safety lens which is very cool.

Decor Hy-Wyd Glasses are hard to beat. Many frame styles and lens colors to choose from. Prescription and nonprescription. I've used them for years and been completely satisfied. Not inexpensive, but you definitely get what you pay for.

Hi. Got access to regular safety glasses there? Shooting glasses do not have to be anything special.

I really like Oakleys, can use clear persimmon amber my personal favorite g26 iridium or any of their other tints. I like that I can wear them anywhere and not look like a shmuck like one would with pillas or radians.

To the OP's question, most any safety glasses, such as the ones found in hardware/lumberyards will do. Just be sure they are anti-fog coated and/or vented. Hard to shoot when you can't see. Along that same vein, South.Texas is right, reflective coatings are a plus. |

ESS ICE are great mil spec V0 rated glasses.
Another to consider at a much better price are the Uvex Genesis X2. They are v0 rated also. |

for my thin dime
this site: http://www.safetyglasses.com/index.html has a selection of both high end and bargain glasses.
depending on your needs, the reader/bifocal glasses are great. optically clear lens with magnifiers in the bottom. don't recall which style I have but they were less than $13 bucks. I use them for both shooting and motorcycling. I have the same style in clear, smoke, and amber. all depending on conditions. for shooting iron sites I got these: http://www.eyepalusa.com/eyepal_ordering.html these damn eye-pals are the best thing since sliced bread and are just plain amazing. no more blurry front sight blades for me. |
