Squirrel scope question
Dear All,
I have a Henry .22 and need a scope for my tired old eyes. I figured this one might be good: http://www.midwayusa.com/rewriteaproduct/388644 I also wonder, does the "Weaver-style" mount refer to being able to fit on the grooved receiver top of the Henry? I has a dove-tail like effect on the sides which I assume would be for scope ring mounting. Thank you in advance. Blindly,

I.ve found Bushnells to be good scopes, especially considering the cost. As for a 4x scope, that's what I use (the Leupold 4x rimfire special) and have never felt I needed more for squirrels. In the tech specs on the scope I saw that parallax is set at 50 yards which is good also. As for weaver style rings, I assume that they mean that they are made like the Weaver tip-offs but are not made by Weaver. I believe that they will work fine on a grooved receiver. Weaver style rings are good rings and very strong, they are just a little harder to get the crosshairs vertical since they tend to rotate slightly when tightened and you need to allow for it. I little trial & error will get them to line up just fine.
