Headstamp Stumper.

Good afternoon all!

I recently loaded some .45ACP brass with the headstamp "TEXAS" and ".45ACP" on them, no other markings. The brass was new and I can't remember where I picked them up.

Any input on the maker or the history of this brass?

Pics available, but I'm at work right now and my home 'puter is currently 10-7.

Several years ago, I bought some from Midway. I don't know where they got it from. IIRC they also had Texas headstamped 357 mag brass.

I tried the link for Texas Ammo-apparently the company is now out of business unless you have a new link.

I don't have another address. I hadn't been to their site for 5 years or more, should have checked it.

The link does work, it just isn't Texas Ammo anymore. The domain name apparently is for sale.

Gunny Bunny, I do not know about the Texas Ammo Co., I do have 44 Remington Mag and 45 ACP nickel plated brass, total about 600, I no longer let the 45 ACP out of the house, when I took it to the range I had to run each case down one at a time, my TEXAS brass came from Star-Line.

Got to wondering about TA. Found that they ended production May 17th, 2006.
