Bersa BP9CC?

Hello
Anyone have any experience with the new Bersa BP9CC? Range time, Reliability, Quality of the pistol. I ask because I am thinking of getting one.

Bersa BP9 is the best slim ccw gun on the market. Same size and weight as S&W Shield, better quality and trigger. Holds 8 plus 1, comes with 2 eight round mags. NO external safety. I've put over 1000 rounds through, flawless performance. $ 374 at Academy, best deal out there.

Yeah I had one for a while. I always hit the mag release when I fired it, it was just too small for my hands so I sold it. It is one sweet looking pistol though.

Good observations, will have to drop by my local Academy to see if they have one.

I'm a little surprised the Shield owners have allowed a couple of these assertions about quality and the trigger go un-challenged....

Bersas are the best kept secret in firearms. I own the BP9 and I have also shot the Shield. You can't go wrong with either one. I felt that the Bersa BP9 trigger is smoother. I am also not a fan of external safeties. Bp9 doesn't have one. BP9 holds one more round, which is no big deal. Side by side I felt that the BP9 was better quality.

With firearms, everyone has there own opinion. Now days you can't even find any of them available, or get ammo for them.

I own a bp9cc and have put 1000+ rounds down range with it.
It's an awesome pistol and shoots really well. Mine has been at Reynersons the last 3 weeks because something broke. The mag disconnect safety stopped working and the slide started locking back after every shot.
Sent back under warranty (at my expense). I'll keep you posted on the outcome.
That said, I still recommend it. It really is a sweet shooter. I bought mine because I got tired of waiting for a Shield and I'm happy I did.

I have a shield 40

I have shot a Bersa BP9cc

Both are very good pistols.....

After about 200 rounds, the Shield trigger smooths out

The Shield is what I carry and own.

I got one for my fiance, and liked it so much I got one for me too. I carry it for CCW because of it's size, and after over 800 rounds thru each Bersa, it's complete reliability. I enjoy the feel, it's comfortable and a lot more accurate than I expected.
I highly recommend it.......

I recommend them all the time to those who are wanting a shield and getting tired of waiting forever.. the BP9CC is sometimes difficult to find, but not like the Shield is..

all told, the two guns are fairly well matched to each other.. I tend to favor the Bersa.. they really are one of the best kept secrets in the gun world.
