which primers should i use, CCI 500 or win wsp, reloading for 9mm if that makes a difference.

I like CCI. No real reason other than the CCI Blazer is the only .22lr ammo that I've never had a misfire with...ever. If they can make a totally reliable rimfire, my guess is that they can make a totally reliable centerfire primer.

There are sometimes small differences in the fit, so it would depend on the brass you have? CCI's that I have tend to be a little on the tighter side; wider slightly. Either brand should function fine unless you have a lightened mainspring as part of trigger work you've done or had done, in which case I would use Federal primers because they tend to be a little more sensitive.

Also, some primer trays and tubes don't like certain brands of primers. If I remember it was a lee tray and federal primers. I may be wrong though on the federal part; I'm sure it was with a Lee primer tray.

Lee does say not to use Federal primers in their Auto Prime, but I have for a few years now without issue. They somtimes need a little shake to fall into the loading area of the tool, but nothing too bad.

I use Winchester, always have. I can usually find them were I shop. I recently bought Remington cause thats all they had. Reloading supplies are getting scarce around here. Guess I need to order online. Last time I bought supplies was 3-4 years ago. I buy in bulk.

After seeing a couple of your posts I'd advise getting 2 or 3 loading manuals to see what they recomend.
As for which brand I use Winchester, Remington, Federal or CCI magnum or standard primers depending on the cartrige, powder, bullet and which gun I'm loading for.
