I have a Remington PSS DM in.308. I have taken 725 yard shots with no effect on accuracy at all. Granted my stock is made by H S Precision (the maker of this conversion), if they can put their name on it, it must work. I would caution on spending that much on a rifle, if you do not intend on keeping that rifle for life. At that amount you WILL NEVER recoup that amount in resale!

thanks for the reply. the rifle i plan on putting it on is my rem 700 VSF .308.
it also has a hs-percision stock. so compared to a standard box mag, you would say that the detachable mags dont affect accuracy? |

My mag is a factory Remington mag, but no I have never had a problem with any rounds. I have even shoot surplus crap ammo out of them with no problem. Just a side note, you should also check out Robar (Robie Barkkman) he is doing a Rem 700 .308 conversion using 20rd M14 mags.

I noticed that Midway had these on sale recently for ~$199. Might see if they are still on sale.

Detachable Mag
One came on my Browning A-bolt. It should not affect accuracy at all. Try a gun show, or Midway or Brownells. Talk to Remington, maybe they make one. I'm looking for an extended clip for mine, maybe 10 rounds or so.
