Rem 700 CDL .270

Can .270 WSM (Win Short Mag) also be used in same rifle?

Not even close

Assuming its your first rifle - carefully read that safety info in the manual and see if someone will take you to the range / backblocks for a quick intro into centerfire. Might make things a little easier and more fun
