I need the weight of water, in grains, that the following cases will hold:
.38-40 .44-40 .44 Special Thanks to anyone who can provide me with that information. |

Mike,
Quick and dirty measurements (two of each, averaged) .44-40 holds 40 grains of water. .44 Special holds 33.7 grains of water. Can't help you with the .38-40 case.

A quick check of three Remington .38-40 cases gives an average of 39 grains.
