Thoughts...PSAK 47 MOE vs VZ 58

Would like one or the other, I think. What are your thoughts and how to choose? Looking for good ergos, best accuracy, and a way to get into 7.62x39!

Help!

Depends on the Vz58 you plan on getting...

The Czechpoint ones are very good, the century ones are decent, but the barrel is plain steel, not chrome lined or nitride treated.

It is probably not much of an issue as VZ 58's are generally unavailable.

If I had to choose between a full spec Vz 58 and a good Ak, I would choose the VZ...

A bit lighter and has a bolt hold open.

The AK has an advantage in having cheaper more readily available magazines and parts.

I much prefer the handling of my Vz58 to an AK. They were once priced very reasonably but are quickly going up in price - might be good to get one while they're available

The "Yugo" AK mags advertise the bho feature.

Keep in mind that mags are Not interchangeable between AK clones and VZ-58s.
Are spare parts for 58s available at reasonable prices? Rugged guns might not require any spare part, but it's nice to know whether or not there are options.

Always have a Plan B.

If you have an urge to customize the rifle and like having a wide variety of aftermarket options, get the AK.

Love the VZ-58 but they're like akin to rooster's teeth.

Hard to find. Parts are an issue.

Parts kits for the Vz58 seem to be much more common than completed guns, so parts are available (for now)

Choose VZ58; is eleven more than AK47

"Parts kits for the Vz58 seem to be much more common than completed guns, so parts are available (for now)"
That's because people that own all the VZ's out there aren't selling them...for some reason
