Least gun wear from holster?

What leather holster should I get if I want the least wear and tear on the finish of my gun. I want a open top, one that would be IDPA approved, but I'd like one that won't wear the coating off my SIG239 in 6 months. Any suggestions?

I actually don't have an answer for you , but I can suggest contacting some of the more reputable holster makers via e-mail stating your concerns and see what they have to offer in the way of products or inputs.

Have fun , be safe, and enjoy.
