Steel vs Copper ammo
I own a POF .308 with 20" barrel. I am in the final stages of setting up the rifle, with bipod, rings, scope, stock riser and had a question about ammo. POF states that they run thousands of rounds of Tulo and other steel cased ammo and they claim zero problems with cycling and accuracy up to 500 yards.
Yes, I have plenty of match ammo from Sierra, Federal and Hornady for precision shooting and hunting, and do not intend to use this stock for range shooting or plinking, etc. So, I am just asking for thoughts on ammo like: Tulammo - steel cased MFS - 145 gr full metal jacket Zinc plated cases I will use these rounds for plinking, range and am just not concerned about accuracy outside of 500 yards. Basically, I want to find the cheapest rounds that won't break my baby for 'fun only shooting' Any input is appreciated. |

What better input than the factory? Just buy what cheapest.

Personally I intensely dislike Tulammo. I find it very dirty.
, Use Wolf, or Silver Bear instead. |
