Speed strip carrier

I made myself one this morning.....I wasn't sure how to deal with the rubber thingy at the end but found that it folds up nicely and springs into action when I unsnap the flap.

What's the deal with those things? Just for guns that can't take the seemingly far more quick and useful moon clips?

I don't use speed strips, but it seems that pants come with four speed strip carriers built in.

However, if you want them on the belt, you did a good job with it.
