Is there a way to search the archives for information? When I try I only get things from a short time before. Thanks

Threads prior to roughly October, 1999 have been archived to save bandwidth on searches. This was necessary to keep The Firing Line up and running smoothly. These threads are being stored safely, but there is currently no way to access or search them. A fix is in the works, but these things take time. Eventually we will have access to these threads again.
