Maryland buck
deer Maryland buck.JPG
I'm not sure this photo transferred or not. This dandy buck was downed in Maryland with my older Ten Point crossbow. I bought it second hand for a good price in 2008. Shooting distance was about 20 yards or so. I can strike the bulls eye at 40 yards but would never take such a shot at a deer because the sound of the string slap would cause the animal to jump. At closer distances, string slap is not an issue; the bolt is already there. - Jack
