I was wondering if any of you folks Know whne this new model well be out? I saw it at the vegas shot show and it caught my eye. Any info when it will be out and how you guys rate it would be great thanks!

I shot it in Prescott about a year ago. A factory rep brought a couple out and was letting everyone have a crack at it. It's nice, but I still would rather have a BT-99 or BT-100. Ruger shotguns just don't have the tough-as-nails rep of Browning or Beretta.

I have yet to see one actually for sale, but I think the ticket is around $2K.

I recall seeing the stocks being manufactured back in Nov. '99. The assembly crew for the Ruger shotgun is probably no greater than 6 persons. They weren't even working on anything new except for some regular guns and the 50th Anniv. Model back then.
