Yes; he sold very nice wood grips that had a blind grip screw hole on one side. They were usually made of Coco Balo with very fine line checkering.
Most of grips had an enclosed backstrap, IIRC. The open backstrap ones usually had at least a recoil shoulder. Like his compatriot, Guy Hogue, they were custom made & required a tracing of your hand & the grip frame of whatever weapon they going on. His nickname was "Fuzzy".

Fuzzy had quite a following and his grips are very desirable by a lot of collectors.

Farrant grips often had a signature feature which was the bottom of the grip was considerably smaller then the top.
This required grinding off the lower front of the grip frame. He also made grips for unaltered frames.

For a time, Farrant grips were an "in thing" in the LAPD.
After Farrant stopped making his grips, his sons ran the business for a short time before stopping production.

Here's a link to some good pictures of Farrant's grip:

Here is a pair of Farrants on a Ruger Security Six. They do not have the cut frame style, but are made for the unmodified frame. I think they are bocote. ................... [IMG][/IMG] ...................... And here are pair that I had carved by Kirk Ratajasek on a S&W 25-7. [IMG][/IMG]

Farrant grips turn up for auction occasionally on Ebay and the gun auction sites.
