Winchester Model 12 Magazine Tube Removal

Hey everyone, need a little help on my Winchester Model 12. This is NOT the featherweight edition.

Winchester Model 12 20 Gague year of manufacture 1913 (2.5 inch shells).

I need to remove the magazine tube, as it contains a plug that limits my capacity to 1+1 in the chamber. I understand the basic strip procedure, have the complete barrel assembly and the reciever seperated, but I can't seem to find any good online instructions for how to seperate and remove the magazine tube and plug.

Any help appreciated!!

You don't want to remove the magazine tube, just the cap on the front.

"Remove the 2 screws from the end of the mag tube and the cap and spring will come out. Do so carefully as the spring is compressed"
