bolt closes tight
My 700 VSF 22-250 closes very tightly on both full length and neck sized cartridges. Extraction is good, the chamber and bolt face are both clean. It closes easily on an empty chamber. Does this sound like a headspace problem?

Tight closeing on neck sized rnd. Not suprizing
Tight closeing on full length sized rd, could be inproper sizeing or gun problem. Tight closeing on new factory ammo or new brass, probably a gun problem. Try a box of factory stuff, or borrow some and just see how it chambers. If the new ammo chambers ok. You have not sized your brass enough or have too long oal. I highly recomend a stony point comparator for col and headspace and the oal guage. You just cant do as good a job without them. p.s. I assume you have a reasonably clean gun with grease on the lugs.

Use a magic marker to color one of your sized cartridge cases. Chamber the case and extract it. Where the magic marker is rubbed off is the source of your problem. I'd bet it is rubbed off near the base of the cartridge. This indicates hot loads, soft brass that swells near the base or both. If you don't want to change brands of brass, get a sizing die that sizes the brass more hear the base.
