Night Sights on my P89DC
Ok I'm finally going to put tritium sights on my Ruger. The Question is can I do it with a drill press and no jig? If I clamp the slide and dry run the bit through, power off, to check my alignment? I could then clamp the new front sight in and drill the first hole. Place the one roll pin in then drill the second. Does this sound doable?
Second Question Is the Loctite 609 absolutely necessary? Godbless....

It's a done deal!
I now have night sights installed on my pistola! I used a C-clamp a paint stir stick cut in two to soften the C-clamp, one plastic squeeze grip wood clamp to hold the front site in place and my drill press. I wouldn't have tried it with out the press. It took a while to get the 1/16th bit aligned but it was perfect.
Godbless...... [IMG][/IMG]
