Does anyone know of a source of pulled 45 acp bullets. Wideners had them but not any more, hope they aren't all gone.

I have no idea what they were charging for pulled bullets, but when you can buy factory fresh for around $7 per 100...why?

They were 4.5 cents a round, maybe less at other places. I ordered 3000 of them about a year and a half ago.. they're all gone now.

Patrick,

I live five minutes from Widners and
Stop in their retail outlet from time to
time looking for bargains...Found one
about two months ago...the last of the
pulled .45 bullets. In fact, I was loading
them earlier today.
They were a great find. Think I paid $37
per thousand plus tax. Not bad for FMJ
.45s.

Patrick,

Try HI-TECH AMMUNITION at:
http://www.zcr.com/hitech

The last time I looked they had pulled 230 grain bullets at $53 per 1000. Hope this helps.

The guy said shiping is about $9.50/1000 to Indiana. Indiana is right next door to them. If it cost anymore it would be cheaper to buy some of the new ones. I saw someone in the previous shotgun news advertising new 45acp fmj for $70/1000 shipping paid, they'll get my next order. I didn't see their ad in the latest shotgun news or I'd post their phone number. I don't know if they were plated or real fmj.

Golden West Metal Industry has an ad in Shotgun News for 45 230 FMJ for $75/1000 or $51.5/1000 if you order over 10,000. Free shipping.

I think that Scharch MfG. also handles these bullets. www.scharch.com
