I'm in Dulles VA. I have visited Silver Eagle once for a look see. Much cleaner than that other nearby range. I hope to shoot a bit at SEG soon to evaluate. I'm also liking their indoor 50 yd for rifle.

Jimbo,

Silver Eagle is very nice...almost like a country club

Take a look at the NRA range in Fairfax. It's 50 yd indoor. It's very clean and they have a big focus on safety.

I've found that once the football games start on Sunday, the crowds aren't as bad. I don't watch sports so I'm not missing anything and can usually get in pretty quick. If the Skins keep losing that might change.

Not if the Skins keep losing; more like when.

Just go early and you can avoid the mad rush.

This weekend, I'm heading to the Dulles Expo Gun Show if anyone wants to meet up. I usually go with a few friends to tool around, people watch, and pick up ammo. And we grab lunch afterwards.

There's a $1 off coupon on the website

http://thenationsgunshow.com

If you're interested, let me know and we can make plans to meet up.

It's been a while. Hope everyone is doing well.

I'd like to get a few people together this coming Saturday morning and go to the NRA range or Sharpshooters.

Who's in?

Went to the NRA range today around 12:30 and it was.....empty!
Shot until I ran out of rounds, there was no waiting list. Couldn't believe it, I had tried about 6 weeks ago and it was so packed I went home.

Yeah, ammo prices have made shooting an expensive outing.

Heading to either the NRA range or Blue Ridge Arsenal this weekend and wanted to see if anyone on here wanted to join me. Most likely will be around 9am either Sat or Sun.
