FN Hi Power

Have an FN Hi Power with Nazi Proofs on it (after market nickled) so it has no collecters value. Has an indentation on right side of slde. Have seen it on other old Hi Powers so its not a dent. What is its purpose? Havent been able to get an answer. Please help. John

To make getting the slide stop pin out easier. The Inglis Hi Powers have the same 'dent'.

Deez.
