The Ugliest Citori!

This might be the ugliest Cirtori I have EVER seen!

BigJim, I know you like your Brownings - this one is for you!

I like the description......"unique" green finish just in time for St Patrick's Day. Looks like someone turned their crazy bedazzling aunt loose on that one!!!

Why not?

Although... I think I might like a nice metalflake orange better.

Back in the day, Winchester produced a Model 12 with a walnut-colored plastic hydra-coil stock. I saw a lady shooting a similar Model 12 done in pinks (swirly like a bowling ball) with all the metal nickel plated. I never learned if it was a one-off or a limited run. As bizarre as that gun looked, it was tame compared to this Citori Leprechaun Special.

Does my benchrest rifle qualify as being "bedazzled"?

No, I think that Citori had some dime size flakes on it.

What's really scary is that there are four bids on it, and it's up to $900. A little further and it will reach the "buy it now" price. :barf:

I think I knew a guy that had a "leisure suit" that color in the late 60's ... ( it wasn't me...) / or maybe it was a pimp .....hard to remember ..

That is pretty funny.

Local Legend John Kersey had an 1100 with a Jack West stock and forearm set done like that in Green Metalflake. Overbored barrel, sweet trigger.

The Green Machine destroys targets like, well a machine.

Not my thing, but there's room in this universe for variance.

Guys bidding on it must like BLING.

Had a '73 Trans Am years ago that had almost that same factory color. On a T/A, sure. A Citori? No thanks. I prefer my Duratouch camo on mine.

Interesting Dave,

A friend of mine shoots an older Rem 1100 with a Jack West stock as well - and he had it painted with DuPont Imron Chameleon paint ( depending on your angle - it changes color from an orange/rust - to a deep purple and every shade in-between.)

I thought it was so cool - I had a new bicycle made - and had them use the same paint a few years ago.

Borrowing (slightly) from MLK...

Someday, we will learn to appreciate others for the content of their character... instead of the color of their gun.

obviously they like the green as it offers better camouflage. All you serious hunters out there should know this.

Wow. I like Citoris, but that is . . . ummmm . . . interesting, yeah, interesting. Looks like someone is trying to beat the original Browning Double Twelve.
