A wooden stock for the Hi Point 995?
I'm thinking of getting the hi point 9mm carbine after hearing great things about it and loving it after trying it out at the range but I'm still having trouble with the damn fuglyness of the thing. So would it be worth my while to try and make a stock (not expecting miracles just lots of cursing and bedding.) or should I just go chop off an arm and a leg now for the Beretta.

Why not buy the ATI drop in? They look great, thet're cheap and easy to install. Totally transforms the gun. Or are you stuck on wood. Making a stock from scratch is a big undertaking. Especially for that gun.
