Who Sold Glenfields??

Just purchased a Marlin-Glenfield Model 30. It is a Marlin 336 and is not in to bad of shape. Looking at the serial number I expect that it was manufactured in 1968. Plan on contacting Marlin about care and feeding instructions so no problems there.

Now my question is that I am aware that Glenfield was a trade name for one of the major retailers of that day but for the life of me I can't remember which one. Can someone supply this small tidbit to me??

Glenfield is a **Marlin** trademark for their plain finish rifles. About all the volume discount stores that didn't have their own brand name handled them in those days.
