How are Ultra Dot optics?

I think I want to put one of these on my AR. Could anybody drop me a few reviews?

Are these optics just for pistols? I am going to put it on an AR

They are durable enough to ride on top of a .45 slide (many people mount them directly to the slide), it should be fine on your AR.
